I joined the Boston University physics Ph.D. program, after completing my masters degree in condensed matter theory. For the past three years I worked towards understanding dissipation mechanisms and non-linear behavior in nano-electromechanical systems. My research areas include synchronization of silicon resonators, scaling of dissipation of poly-nanocrystalline diamond, ultrahigh frequency (GHz) responses in hierarchical structures, and universality in dissipation in NEMS resonators made of different materials at mK temperatures.
